Who we are
Test Removals Ltd, is responsible for your personal details (the “controller”).

What we collect
- Your contact details: name, phone number, email address.
- Your move: the addresses you are moving from and to and any stops, the date, access (stairs, lifts, parking), what you are moving, and any photos or files you send us.
- Booking and payments: your quote, what you accepted and when, payments, deposits, invoices and any refunds. We don’t keep card numbers.
- Messages: emails and notes about your move, including anything you tell us on your move page.
- Moving day: when your crew set off, arrive and finish, the van’s location on the day so you can follow it, signatures, and photos of items or damage if there is a claim.
- Parking: if we arrange a parking suspension, the registration of any vehicle that will be parked there.
- Extra care: if you tell us something sensitive to help us plan (for example a move into a care home, or a bereavement), we use it only for your move and only the people who need it can see it.
- Our website: if you arrive from one of our adverts, which advert it was, kept until 90 days, if you agreed to cookies.
Why we use them, and our legal reasons

Who we share them with
Only the people who need them to do your move or run our business. We never sell your details.
- Our crew on your move: your name, phone number, addresses, times and what is being moved.
- Remuvl, the software we use to run our office, quotes, moving day and your move page. Remuvl keeps your details on servers in London and works only on our instructions. It uses DigitalOcean (servers, UK), Brevo (sending our emails, EU), mapping and postcode services to find addresses and plan the route.
- Our insurer and loss adjusters, if there is a claim.
- The council, if we arrange a parking suspension.
- Our accountant, for our records.
- The police or other authorities, only where the law requires it.
Where a provider is outside the UK, it is in a country the UK recognises as protecting personal data properly, or it is covered by the UK’s approved safeguards.
How long we keep them

Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of the details we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete your details (unless we have to keep them, for example invoices for tax), stop or limit how we use them (including any reminders or follow-ups), or give you your details in a form you can take elsewhere. Just ask (testfirm@example.com or 07700 900999). It’s free, and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have used your details, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Keeping your details safe
Your details are kept on secure servers with encrypted connections, only the people who need them can see them, and they are backed up so they are not lost. Your move page is reached by a private link: please don’t share it with anyone you wouldn’t want to see your move details.

If we change this notice, the new version will be here with the date at the top.
